The British Embassy in Cuba acts on behalf of the British Government and people in relations with Cuba in all areas.
The Embassy is made up of 5 sections. The activities of each section are outlined below. You can get more information on our work or contact details by clicking on the relevant link.
Political Section
Political section deals with government to government relations. They are responsible for keeping the British Government informed about Cuba by maintaining contacts with a full range of opinion and from all sectors of society. They also manage the development and co-operation project funds. Contact us
Commercial section
Commercial Section is responsible for trade development and inward investment. Its staff provide support to UK firms wishing to trade and export in Cuba and generate new inward investment. Contact Commercial Section
Visa/Consular section
Visa and Consular Section offers practical advice, assistance and support to British nationals who travel to Cuba, such as issuing passports and emergency passports; registering births and deaths; and assisting Britons detained or imprisoned, who have fallen ill or been the victim of a crime.
