Making a complaint

We aim to provide an efficient service to our customers, but as with any organisation, things sometimes go wrong.

If you have a complaint, we would like to know about it as soon as possible. We will do our best to respond quickly and try to ensure that you and other customers do not have cause to complain again.

In the first instance, please address any complaint to the Consul:

Michael Holmes
H M Consul
British Embassy, Havana
Calle 34 No 702-4 e/ 7ma y 17
Miramar, Havana

In all cases please provide your name, address and telephone number, a clear description of your complaint and as much detail of names, dates, places and other background information as possible. If you are a visa applicant, please also provide your date of birth.

We will take your complaint seriously, and we will try to provide a full reply within 10 working days. If we cannot give you a full reply within this time, we will tell you when we expect to be able to do so and keep you informed of any progress.

If you are not happy with our response and you are a visa applicant, please contact UK Border Agency direct. Otherwise you can ask for the complaint to be put forward to the Ambassador.
