Our Embassy in Havana

The United Kingdom and Cuba have full diplomatic relations, unbroken since they were established in 1902 following Cuba's independence.

The two countries have developed encompassing areas that include wide ranging anti-drugs and anti-money laundering co-operation as well as sporting links, cultural exchanges and commercial relations. This also includes co-sponsoring regional conferences, training courses and supporting the exchange of information with other Caribbean countries.

Since 2006 the British Embassy in Havana and the British Council Cuba have been working closely in public diplomacy activities in the areas of climate change and sustainable development. There were a series of events that included teleconferences, films and competitions designed to greater dialogue between the UK and Cuba on these important subjects.

The Embassy in Havana is located at:

Calle 34 no. 702 esq 7ma, Miramar
