New Director of the British Council in Havana (19/10/2009)
Dianna Melrose, Her Majesty Ambassador held a cocktail at her Residence in honour of Frank Fitzpatrick, the new Director of the British Council in Cuba. The event was attended by contacts from the educational, cultural and scientific areas as well as by other representatives of Cuban institutions.
Frank has a professional background in Linguistics and language teaching, a Master degree in Linguistics and has published a book on pronunciation teaching. More recently, he has studied business administration and also has an MBA.
For Frank Cuba is a very special place and he is hoping to continue the work of the British Council in English, Education, Science and Arts in any way he can.
